〔記者蘇金鳳／台中報導〕台中市地方稅務局長陳進雄今天說，房屋稅明年不會調，但從107年7月1日起，新房屋的房屋標準單價將調高60％，但舊建物不會調整，而調整幅度是六都最低。不過，新房屋的房屋稅於107年7月調高，於108年才會收到稅單，市議員楊正中直批，已過選舉，根本是選舉考量！
市議會財建委員會今天審查地方稅務局105年決算，楊正中質疑房屋稅明年是否會調整？地方稅務局長陳進雄說，107年7月1日後取得使用執照的新房屋，房屋標準單價將調高60％，但之前的舊建物不會調整，但若舊建物在107年7月1日後改建，就必須繳調高的房屋稅。
房屋稅每3年評價一次，每一次評價適用3年，地方稅務局說，台中市房屋稅已30多年未調整，日前召開不動產評價委員會重行評定相關事項，決定今年不調漲，緩衝一年，從107年7月1日開始調漲新房屋的標準單價，也就是107年7月1日之後取得使用執照的新房屋，才會適用新的標準單價，舊房屋不會，但有改建也必須適用新稅。
楊正中說，以前從未有緩衝期，說漲就漲，這次卻是106年不漲，107年7月才開始調，就是108年才會收到稅單，怕調如此高引起反彈，而107年就要選博客來網路書店 舉，根本選舉的考量。
